Sounds exciting doesn’t it? Well it is! It’s important that you understand what Self Hypnosis is though. It isn’t what you’ve seen hypnotists do on stage, by getting people to do silly things. Even though that would be great it’s unfortunately impossible.
Hypnosis can not make people lose control or do things that they don’t want to do. The best way to describe it is like a deep daydream, or the relaxation you experience just before you fall asleep.

How does Self Hypnosis work?
By going into a deep relaxed state your mind is more responsive to suggestions. When you visualise getting better in a relaxed state your mind treats that as though it is a command. Therefore, when you keep doing it it becomes a learnt behaviour, so your mind will go about helping you to do it without you consciously having to do anything. How good is that!
